Music Theatre Alum, Montego Glover, to Star in Memphis on Broadway

School of Theatre MT alum Montego Glover will be starring in the new Broadway musical Memphis, which is scheduled to open on October 19, 2009. She will be playing the role of Felicia, one that she originated at the La Jolla Playhouse. Also, Music Theatre alum Kevin Covert will be performing in the production.

BroadwayWorld.com calls this show the "salvation of the American musical" and says that "Montego Glover is no less than spectacular." Memphis opens on Broadway after extremely successful productions at the La Jolla Playhouse and Seattle's Fifth Avenue Theatre.For more information about the show, click here.
