The School of Art and Design offers a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach to its academically rigorous, yet flexible programs in Art, Art History, Art Education and Interior Design. The Department of Art boasts cross-disciplinary creative partnerships including formLab, Small Craft Advisory Press and other innovative initiatives. Graduate programs offered by our Art Education department have been ranked in the top three most influential among public institutions in North America. Expansive programs in Art History include a growing specialization in museum studies and cultural preservation and many offerings at our numerous international sites, and the Design Futures Council ranked our Department of Interior Design #2 in the Sunbelt for preparing students for professional practice.
